Remove the
valve and
O-rings.
Do
nO( over-tJ9hten
the \lise
and distort
the damper
case.
Drain most of the shock oil from the damper and
reservoir, by pumping the damper rod

out
several times.
Sel the damper case in a vise with a piece of wood or
soft jaws
to avoid
damage.
Remove
the
end pia
Ie,
and
tape
or
tie
it
to the
rubber
stopper so
it
will nol get
in
the way.
Push
in the rod guide case until you have good access
to the
stopper
rlng.
