FRONT WHEEUSUSPENSION/STEERING
FORK CENTER BOLT
Check the fork center bolt for damage.
Check the rebound damping adjuster for clicks.
Replace the fork center bolt as an assembly if
necessary.
PUSH ROO
Check the push rod fo r bends, wear or damage replace
it if necessary.
FORK SLIDER/OUTER TUBE
Check the ouler lube and fork slider for score marks,
scratches and excessive or abnormal wear.
Check the outer lube for damage or bends.
Replace the outer tube if necessary.
Sellhe fork slider on V-blocks, and measure the runout.
Tum the fork slider, and measure the runout using a
dial indicator.
Actual runou t is
1/2
of the lotal indicator reading.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0,2 mm (0.01 in)
Do not reuse the Replace if the service limit is exceeded , or there are
fori< slider if it;s
scratches or nicks that
