FRAME/BODY PANELS/EXHAUST SYSTEM
Install a new gasket to the exhaust
port
of the cylinder
head,
Always replace the exhaust pipe gasket with a new
one whenever the exhaust pipe is removed .
Install the exhaust pipe but do not lighten the exhaust
~;;::;~::::;:;:;~::;;~~~~~~~~~~
pipe joint nuts yet.
Install the muffler ('09 - '12: page 3-11/after '12:
page 3-12) but do not lighten the muffler mounting bolts
yet.
Tighten the exhaust pipe Joint nuts to the specifted
torque.
TORQUE:21 N 'm (2. 1 kgf-m,

Tighten the muffler mounting fasteners.

Installation.
CYLINDER HEAD EXHAUST PIPE
STUD BOLT REPLACEMENT
Thread
two
nuts onto the stud, and tighten them , - - -- -
together, then use a wrench on them to turn the stud
bolt
out.
Install new stud bolts into the cylinder head as shown.
Aller installing the stud botts, check Ihallhe length from
the bolt head to the cylinder head surface is within
speCIfication.
