Aner'12:
Hang the fuel tank
to
the
left side of the
frame
(page
4-6).
Disconnect
the alternatorfCKP sensor 6P (Black)
connector.
Connect the peak voltage tester or adaptor probes to
the CKP sensor side connector
terminals.
Connection

In
the
same manner
as at
the ECM
connector,
measure
the
peak voltage and compare it
to
the voltage
measured
at
the
ECM connector.
If the
peak voltage
measured
at the
ECM
connector
is abnormal and the one measured at the alternator/
CKP sensor connector is
normal,
the
Blue/yellow
or
White/yellow or Greenlwhite wire has an
open
or
short circuit, or loose connection.
If both peak voltages are abnormal, follow the
checks described in
the troubleshooting
chart
(page
17-6).
If
the CKP sensor is
faulty,
replace
the
alternator stator/
CKP sensor assembly (page
12-9).
