Lamp and Filter Assemblies
4.6.1 Remove the Air Filter
The filter located at the front side of the projector should be replaced every
1000 hours. If you are working in an extremely dusty environment you may
want to replace the filter sooner. If this filter is not replaced, airflow may
become restricted and cause the projector to overheat. Use the filter provided
in the Christie approved lamp and filter kit for your specific projector model.
See Table 4.5 Lamp and Filter Kits.

1. Loosen (2) #2 Phillips® self retaining screws on the filter cover.
2. Remove the filter cover.
3. Remove the filter.
4.6.2 Replace the Lamp Module
This procedure requires the appropriate Christie lamp and filter kit.

Use only Christie approved filters.
ALLOW LAMP AND PROJECTOR TO COOL DOWN! Once you have turned off
the projector, allow the cooling fans to automatically turn off before
disconnecting from AC and opening the projector. This takes approximately
15 minutes.
Protective gear required. Wear a full face shield.
