4.3

Replacement Procedures

4.3.1 Tools Required

• Keys for security locks
• Long handle Phillips® screwdrivers: #1, #2
• Short handle Phillips® screwdrivers: #1
• 3/16-inch hex nut driver
• 7/32-inch hex nut driver (torque ratchet for integrator rod)
• Needle nose pliers
• 6 mm wrench
• Long handle hex ball drivers: 5 mm, 3 mm, 2.5 mm, 1.5 mm
• Electrostatic protective strap
• Optical maintenance gloves (included with optical components)

4.3.2 Service Guidelines

NOTE: Graphics included in this publication are for illustration purposes only.
• Always power down and disconnect/disengage all power sources to the projector before servicing.
• Allow the unit to cool for a minimum of 10 minutes.
• Follow all service safety warnings and guidelines. See
• Always read and understand all instructions before starting the procedure.
• When performing a module installation, follow the removal instructions in reverse, unless otherwise
indicated.
