Optical Assemblies

4.8.1 Remove the Integrator Rod Assembly

(20 minute)
1. Remove the top cover. See
2. Remove (3) 3 mm hex screws from the transparent engine duct. Remove the engine duct.
3. Remove the lamp louver. See
4. Remove (1) #1 Phillips® screw, which secure the contrast aperture cover.
5. Remove the lamp exhaust duct. See
NOTE: The thermal sensor can be removed or left in place.
6. Remove (2) #2 Phillips® screws, which secure the heat sink to the baseplate. Remove the heat sink.
7. Remove (4) #2 Phillips® screws from the integrator cover. Remove the integrator cover.
NOTICE! Do not remove the black gasket seal.
8. Remove (1) 7/32-inch hex nut from under the integrator at the rear of the assembly.
9. Wear the supplied gloves and gently remove the integrator rod assembly.

Remove the Top Cover.
