10.4 Turning the acoustic signal on and off
The acoustic program end signal (buzzer) is inactive in all programs. You may
activate the buzzer at any time.
♦ Press the Acoustic signal key (22).
The signal is turned on, and the indicator in the Acoustic signal key (22) is lit.
10.5 Activating the Preheating key
The steam generator integrated in the double wall offers the possibility to preheat
the sterilizing chamber as well as to deaerate the steam generator and to keep it
operational. This feature substantially shortens batch times, improves sterilization
quality and helps avoid the risks associated with cold sterilizing chambers.
INFORMATION
It is recommended to keep the sterilizer at working
temperature until the sterilization workload has been
completed. Always press the Preheating key (23) after
unloading sterilized items.
♦ After removing the load, close the door (1) until it touches the sterilizing
chamber (9).
♦ Press the Preheating key (23) on the control panel (6).

The indicator light in the corner of the Preheating key is lit. The locking levers of
the door are locked automatically. The door seal is not deaerated. The sterilizer
preheats the double wall up to the maximum temperature of the previously
activated sterilizing program. It does not switch off automatically.
