4 Putting the sterilizer into service
Extent of validation
Validation consists of commissioning and performance evaluation.
Commissioning is to show that the sterilizer and the area in which it is deployed
comply with the relevant specifications and that the devices for controlling,
displaying and recording are calibrated to perform within the predetermined limits.
Performance evaluation is to show that the desired sterile conditions are obtained
everywhere inside the specified sterilizer loads.
4.2
Scope of delivery
In addition to the documents already mentioned, a 1 m silicon hose with connector
is included with the sterilizer. This hose is used for emptying the feed water tank.

One paper roll for the integrated printer and fuses for the sterilizer.
Loading systems and Bowie & Dick test utensils are supplied as per the
accessories ordered.
Hoses for supply and waste removal are supplies as per the accessories ordered.
4.3
Warranty periods
1-year warranty for all electrical and mechanical parts.
Exception: expendable items.
5 years warranty for stainless steel pressure vessel and double wall.
