13.4 Changing the ribbon of the integrated printer

If the printout starts to appear faded after a longer period of use, the printer ribbon
should be replaced.
INFORMATION
Do not pull the paper out of the printer. Use the Paper feed key
for this purpose.
Never pull the paper backward, because this may damage the
printer.
♦ Turn the bar lock (26) on the printer cover to the left.
The printer cover is now unlocked (see Figure 26).
♦ Pull the printer cover (27) toward you.
♦ Remove the printer cover (27).
♦ Hold the left end of the ribbon cartridge with your left hand.
♦ Press on the right end of the cartridge.
This will lift the left end of the cartridge.
♦ Remove the cartridge.
♦ Take a new cartridge.
♦ Insert the left end of the new cartridge in the left corner of the printer
head.
Make sure that the cartridge is parallel to the ribbon guide.
♦ Press the right end of the cartridge down into the right corner of the
printer head.
♦ Replace the printer cover (27). Guide the paper through the slot of the
printer cover (27). Once the printer cover is flush with the device, lock the
printer cover by turning the locking bar to the right.
