If the feed water tank (5) runs out of water during a program run, the program is
automatically terminated and an error message will appear in the cycle display (18)
(see Chapter 13, Troubleshooting).
INFORMATION
Prior to each sterilization cycle, make sure that there is enough
paper in the integrated printer (3) for batch documentation and
that the ribbon in the printer is in good condition.
♦ Check how much paper is left on the paper roll inside the integrated
printer (3).
Red marks on the paper indicate that the paper roll will soon be empty.
♦ Check the quality of the latest batch printout.
If the integrated printer (3) is short of paper or generated a faint output when it was
last used, proceed as follows:
♦ Insert a new paper roll or ribbon (see Chapters 12.3 and 12.4).
You are now ready to record the batch documentation of the selected sterilizing
program.
8.2.1 Sterilizing programs
The VARIOKLAV Type 65 TC steam sterilizer features various programs for
sterilization, maintenance and test purposes. The three program keys (19) on the
control panel (6) (see Figure 8) come with specific program runs assigned to them.
This means that in addition to the process itself, the sterilizing time and
temperature and certain options for a sterilizing article are predefined.
