♦ Press the P
program key (19) on the control panel (6).

The indicator in the corner of the key is lit, and the previously used program is
shown in the cycle display (18).
♦ Press the ▲ key (16) or the ▼ key (17) on the control panel (6)
repeatedly until cycle display shows the Bowie & Dick test program.
♦ Close the door (1) until it touches the sterilizing chamber (9).
♦ Press the START/STOP key (20).
The door is automatically locked. The yellow control LED on the control panel
(door indicator, 21) is lit. The Bowie & Dick test program is started. When the
program has been completed, the green START/STOP key (20) will flash.
♦ Press the START/STOP key (20).
The program is terminated. The door is automatically unlocked, and the door
indicator (21) changes to green again.
DANGER
Hot steam may escape when door (1) is opened.
Scalding hazard!
Step back when opening the sterilizer.
♦ Open the door (1).
DANGER
You must wear heat-isolating protective gloves and long-
sleeved working clothes when opening the sterilizing chamber
(9) and removing the sterilized articles: Watch for hot surfaces
and hot steam!
♦ Remove the STERICLIN Bowie & Dick simulation test pack from the
sterilizing chamber (9).
♦ Remove the test object with indicator system.
