♦ Press the Timer key (24).
The cycle display (18) once again shows the program used last.
Timer
If you do not want to start sterilization right away, you may set the timer. You can
thus conveniently perform sterilization at some later time.
♦ Select the desired sterilizing program.
To set the starting time you must observe and, if necessary, check the current
values for date and time.
♦ Press and hold the Timer key (24).
♦ Press the START/STOP key (20).
To set the timer values for day / month / year or hours / minutes, proceed in the
same manner as when setting the time and date (see Figure 21) until the time
indicator (Figure 22) appears.
The indicator light in the corner of the Timer key is lit. The timer is switched on.
Sterilization does not start immediately when the START/STOP key (20) is
pressed, but on the day and at the time selected. When preheating, the sterilizer
will not go into standby mode.
♦ Press the START/STOP key (20).
INFORMATION
When using the timer function for sterilizing programs, note
that the sterilizer is kept at working temperature until the
programmed start time is reached. No feed water is utilized for
this process.
INFORMATION
When using the Transport, Empty Jacket or Door seal service
programs or the Vacuum & Empty testing program, activating
the timer key will not keep the sterilizing chamber at working
temperature. For the testing programs, the sterilizer must be
cold.
