Preparing the sterilizing chamber
The sterilizing chamber is cold.
♦ Turn on the power supply using the circuit breaker on the building site.
♦ If required, press the green START/STOP key (20).
The settings of the last sterilizing program selected are shown on the cycle display
(18).
The current values display (15) shows:

CAUTION
Before sterilization, check to see whether there is enough feed
water in the feed water tank (5).
Only use deionized water when topping up the feed water
Do not use tap water!
♦ Check the feed water tank filling level (5):
Minimum level: Screen is covered.
Maximum level: see Figure 7.
♦ If necessary, fill the feed water tank (5) with completely deionized or
distilled water.

• the chamber temperature for the control (in °C),
• the pressure in the sterilizing chamber
(absolute pressure),
• the pressure in the double wall of the sterilizing
chamber (in kPa),
• the remaining sterilization or drying time (in
minutes); the initial time shown is the set time,
with the numbers counting down to zero during
the sterilization or drying cycle.
