8 Preparing for sterilization
INFORMATION
Correct load arrangement inside the sterilizing chamber:
1. Light items in flexible packs are placed on top,
2. Instruments in individual flexible packs come next,
3. Sterilization containers are placed near the bottom,
4. Heavy instrument containers are placed in the lowermost
position of the sterilizing chamber.
This will clear the way for the condensate accumulating
liberally on heavy sterilizing items to drip off.
