10 Settings
When executing sterilizing programs, sterilizing temperature and sterilizing time
have been preset in accordance with guideline values for specific items to be
sterilized.
These settings meet all the requirements for successful sterilization.
If the requirements regarding residual moisture are particularly high, the drying
time can be extended for those sterilizing programs that can be selected with the
P
and P
program keys.

10.1 Extending the drying time
♦ Press the program key for the program whose drying time you wish to
change.
The indicator light in the corner of the selected program key is lit. The cycle display
(18) shows the previously used program with the associated sterilizing temperature
and sterilizing time (see Figure 18).

♦ Press the selected program key again.
The cycle display (18) will show one parameter of the sterilization process:
Pressing the selected program key repeatedly will cycle through the pre-
programmed values for the sterilization process.
• Sterilizing temperature
• Sterilizing time
• Drying time
• Vacuum
• Removal press.
• Batch number
Parameters you can change are marked with the double-arrow symbol (Figure 19).
The drying time can be temporarily extended for those sterilizing programs that can
be selected with the P
started. After sterilization the preset program parameters are automatically
restored. The next time you select a program with the program key (19), the preset
settings appear again.
