Controlling the batch

Integrated printer
The integrated printer logs the entire sterilization process: The registered process
data (time, chamber floor and filter temperature, chamber pressure) are printed in
one-minute intervals (during the holding time). In addition, it documents the date
and time of sterilization, the manufacturer's number and the batch number as well
as the sterilizing program including the selected sterilizing temperature and
sterilizing time. The batch log makes it possible to compare the process
parameters for the completed sterilization cycle with the predefined set values and
their ranges (see Chapter 6.2.1, Sterilizing programs) and to evaluate the
sterilization cycle.
Process evaluation system
This unit features a process evaluation system that works independently of the
control system. The physical parameters (pressure and temperature) required for
ensuring a sterile load are checked by an independent sensor system pursuant to
DIN EN 285. If the sterilization values are within the predefined range, the process
evaluation system accepts and releases the sterilization process. The printout on
the printer (3) will read Program cycle successful.
