4.1 Target System Design

This section describes the target system circuit design required for on-chip debugging and flash programming.
Because the communication mode for on-chip debugging differs depending on the target device, the target
system configuration varies. Check the device specifications when designing the target system.
Example
If you cannot determine the communication mode of the target device, see the manual for the target device to
check whether the OCDxA and OCDxB pins or TOOLCx and TOOLDx pins are used for on-chip debugging.
