USING THE RESET BUTTON
The RESET button, located to the left of the COM port on the 2H22-08R,
(refer to
Figure
NVRAM.
The RESET button may be used in conjunction with Mode

Switch 7 (Clear NVRAM), described in
user-entered parameters such as IP addresses and
Community Names and to replace them with the 2H22-08R
default settings. It is only necessary to use this method of
clearing NVRAM when it is not possible to access Local
Management.

Pressing the RESET button resets the device, and all current

To reset the 2H22-08R processor, press and release the RESET button.
The device processor goes through a reset process of approximately 20
seconds. Additional downtime may be added as the 2H22-08R reenters
the network.
