Adding a network device

Learn how to add a network device.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with administrator or
service permissions.
2. Select Menu > Administrator Setup > Network Devices Setup.
3. Select the check box.
If the check box is not selected, the device does not appear in the Network Devices menu.
4. Select the Launch Dialog ( ) icon in the Device Name field and type a name for the network
device.
5. Select Enter.
6. Select the Launch Dialog icon in the URL field and type the URL for the network device.
7. Select Enter.

1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), select Menu > Network Devices > Christie ACT.

Viewing and modifying projector settings
Description
The IP address of the projector.
The subnet mask to which the address belongs.
The IP address for the network gateway.
Applies Ethernet settings.
The baud rate of the serial port. The default is 115200.
Enables SNMP.
The SNMP protocol type. Contact Christie for the SNMP V3 user ID and
password.
The IP address where SNMP information and notifications are sent.
Sends the SNMP Management Information Base (MIB) file to a USB flash
drive.
Applies SNMP settings.
Grants access to serial connections.
Grants access to Ethernet connections.
