Scheduling events

Use the scheduler to determine when the projector turns on or off.

Scheduling the projector to turn on or off

Set up an automatic schedule for when the projector turns on or off.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with administrator or
service permissions.
2. Select Menu > Administrator Setup > Scheduler.
3. Select Enable Scheduler.
4. To view the available dates, select and drag the scroll bar.
5. Select a square below the date and next to the time that you want the projector to turn on or
off.
6. Select New.
7. Determine when the projector turns on or off.
• To turn the projector off at a specific date and time, select Power Off.
• To turn the projector on at a specific date and time, select Power On.
8. To enable or disable the scheduled event, select Start.
New scheduled events are enabled by default.
9. Select a date and a time for the scheduled event.
10. To determine when the event occurs, do one of the following:
• To have the scheduled event occur weekly, select Weekly and then select the days that
you want the event to occur.
• To have the scheduled event occur once at a specific date and time, select Once.
11. Select Expire.
12. Select the date you want a weekly event to expire.
13. Select Save.
14. To return to the calendar view, select OK.

Editing a scheduled event

You can change a an event after it has been scheduled.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with administrator or
service permissions.
2. Select Menu > Administrator Setup > Scheduler.
