Learn how to manage the integrated cinema processor (ICP) electronics.
To access the Digital Light Processing (DLP) menus, you need administrator or service permissions.
Stopping Digital Light Processing
communication
Stop Digital Light Processing (DLP) communication when you perform DLP maintenance.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with administrator or
service permissions.
2. Select Menu > Diagnostics > DLP Management.
3. Select Stop DLP Communication.
4. Select Acknowledge.
Resetting the Digital Light Processing
To remove image artifacts from the screen, try resetting the Digital Light Processing (DLP) before
restarting the projector.
Do not reset the DLP if content is playing.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with administrator or
service permissions.
2. Select Menu > Diagnostics > DLP Management.
3. Select Reset DLP.
4. Select Yes.
5. If an alarm appears, select Acknowledge.
Running a Digital Light Processing self test
Run a Digital Light Processing (DLP) self test to test the functionality of the Integrated Cinema
Processor (ICP) and DLP.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with administrator or
service permissions.
2. Select Menu > Diagnostics > DLP Management.
