Working with channels

Create channels to store customized projector settings for different inputs.

Creating a new channel

You can create a maximum of 64 channels.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), log on to the projector (on page 22) with advanced,
administrator, or service permissions.
2. Select Menu > Channel Setup.
3. From the Channel Name list, select a channel.
4. Select the Launch Dialog icon:
5. Enter a name for the channel and select Enter.
6. On the Config 1 screen, complete the following fields:

7. In the left pane, select Config 2.

Description
The icon associated with the channel.
The location or connection for the current input.
The source color depth (8-10-12 bit) for the channel.
The resolution and aspect ratio for the channel.
The screen type, masking, cropping, and lens settings for the
channel.
Associates the channel with a projector configuration file (PCF)
and prevents channel adjustments.
The PCF file associated with the channel.
The intelligent lens system (ILS) file associated with the
channel. The ILS file automatically adjusts the lens position so
the content displays correctly. To edit ILS file settings, select
the Launch Dialog icon:
Any changes made to the ILS file settings are applied to all
channels that use this ILS file.
