Adding a lens serial number

Add the serial number for the lens to help identify it.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), select Menu > Advanced Setup > Lens Setup.
2. From the Primary Lens list, select a lens.
3. In the Serial Number field, select the Launch Dialog ( ) icon.
4. Enter the serial number for the lens.
5. Select Enter.
6. Select Save.
Enabling an automatic intelligent lens system on
a lens
Use this procedure to move the lens to a position specified by the channel settings.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), select Menu > Advanced Setup > Lens Setup.
2. From the Primary Lens list, select a lens.
3. In the Intelligent Lens System area, select Enable Automatic ILS.

Resetting the lens position on projector startup

You can reset the lens position to a default location each time the projector starts up.
We recommend performing this task daily to reduce the risk of large variations in image position and
quality.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), select Menu > Advanced Setup > Lens Setup.
2. From the Primary Lens list, select a lens.
3. In the Intelligent Lens System area, select Reset on Startup.

Completing a full lens calibration

Ensure the lens is calibrated before using the projector.
Complete this task whenever a projection lens is installed.
1. On the touch panel controller (TPC), tap Menu > Advanced Setup > Lens Setup.
2. From the Primary Lens list, select a lens.
3. In the Intelligent Lens System area, tap Full Calibration.
4. Tap Yes.
