(4) Terminal IATS
(5) Terminal IATS-GND

1. Measure the Sensor Terminal Voltage

1. Move the key switch from the OFF to the ON position, and
measure the voltage between sensor terminals 1 and 2.
Factory
specification
OK
NG
(1) Terminal Power (+12 V)
(2) Terminal AFS-GND
(3) Terminal AFS

2. DTC Judgment

1. Place the key switch in the OFF position, and attach the
diagnosis tool to the CAN1 connector.
2. Operate the engine for 2 to 3 minutes with the engine in the idle
status.
3. Check whether the DTC is output or not.

Approx. 10 to 16 V
Go to "2. DTC Judgment".
Repair or replace the wiring harness, or replace the sensor
Either DTC is output.
Normal.
Replace the MAF Sensor or replace the ECU.
