The RadEye shows an error message in the
display's top line
Please refer also to chapter 6.2. If one of the following failures is
indicated, then the RadEye must be repaired by the Thermo Sci-
entific bench repair team:
HV-Error
Detect Err
EEPROM Err
Watchdog*
Please contact our Customer Service for more details.
*) Please see the failure description in the above referenced chap-
ter. If the failure was related to a strong electromagnetic pulse
scenario and the failure went away afterwards, then a repair may
not be necessary. A diligent observation of the RadEye proper
operation after the failure is strongly recommended.
9.5
The RadEye is not found in the software
If the connection between the RadEye and the computer can't be
established with a selected serial port (COM port), then the pro-
gram shows the bellow message first:
The RadEye.EXE software offers to search for a connection to the
RadEye unit on other available serial ports.
