"Plateau measurement: 10 s" (The current plateau measure-
ment is running, and 10 seconds remains, i.e. the remaining
measuring time is displayed).
•
"Plateau measurement complete!" (The plateau measurement
is ready for evaluation and printout; a new plateau measure-
ment can be started).
•
"Reset HV 10 s" (The plateau measurement has been termi-
nated/cancelled and the high voltage is re-set to the operating
voltage. The remaining waiting time is displayed.

Plateau measurement parameters
The voltage values for the start and the end of the plateau meas-
urement are entered into the corresponding text boxes marked
"Start HV [V]" and "End HV [V]".

The text box "Step" defines the step size, i.e. the amount of volts
by which the voltage is increased after each individual measure-
ment. The measuring time for an individual measurement must be
entered into the "Preset time [s]" text box.
