The approximate total time for a plateau measurement can be
calculated using the following formula:
((EndHV - StartHV) / Step + 1) * (Measuring time + 2 s) + 6 s
The maximum total permitted high voltage is 1,400 V, the maxi-
mum total number of steps is limited to 99. In the event that a
high voltage is entered which exceeds the maximum permitted
value, the following warning appears on the screen when you exit
the window:
Invalid HV! HV > HV max. The Program then automatically
returns to the entry mode for the plateau measurement parameters.
If the number of steps exceeds the maximum permitted number a
corresponding warning will also be issued.
The "Input details after measurement start" text box provides an
additional possibility for identifying the plateau.
