Alarm 1 α threshold:
LED constantly on, two frequency alarm tone and vibrator every
two seconds
Alarm 2 α threshold:
LED constantly on, continuous alarm tone and vibrator every two
seconds
The alarm tone and vibrator are acknowledged by a short key (►)
depression, the LED remains activated. The alarm is extin-
guished, once the measured value falls below the first alarm
threshold.

Key Lock
Pressing the "on/▼" key for at least 5 seconds, locks the key pad:
This increases battery time because of additional power consump-
tion by illumination of the LCD or other unintended operations is
avoided.
