Solution due to the symptom

Symptom
The Tool Position Error is displayed
when the tool 2 is selected for the
FC4510-60
The prompt lamp is lit after the
initialization.
The Tool 1 and Tool 2 can not
exchange.
The Tool 2 is not detected for the
FC4500-50/-60, FC4550-50.
Tool Position Error is displayed after the
power was turned on.
Tool Position Error is displayed when
the pen goes down.
The tool goes down strongly.
The X position is shifted when it is
cutting.
The Y position is shifted when it is
cutting.

Cause
The Model is not selecting to the
FC4510-60 when the main board
was replaced.
The origin is memorized to other
than lower left.
The tool number is not assigned to
the condition number correctly.
The length of tool 2 is shorter than
tool 1. Too1 is touching to the pen
sense rubber before the tool 2
when the tool is holding.
The pen block height is too high.
The pen height encoder sensor is
not working correctly.
The moving coil is defective.
The encoder strip is broken.
The X belt is skipping.
The Y belt is skipping.

9 TROUBLE SHOOTING
Solution
Perform the NVRAM clear, and
then select the FC4510-60.
Turn on the power while pressing
the origin key to reset the origin
point.
Assign the Tool number to the
condition number correctly.
Use the correct length of pen for
the Tool 2.
Confirm the Pen Block height.
There is dust on the encoder
sensor.
Clean the encoder sensen on the
pen block.
Replace the pen block if the
moving coil is broken.
Check the encoder of encoder
sensor. replace the pen block if it
is broken.
Check the X belt tension and
apply the silicon grease on the X
belt drive pulley.
Check the Y belt tension and
apply the silicon grease on the Y
belt drive pulley.
