Enabling or Disabling the [ENTER] Key when a Tool Exchange Command is Received
(TOOL SELECT WAIT) [Default setting:DISABLED]
This function determines whether or not to use the [ENTER] key when a tool exchange command is received.
When ENABLED is selected, a tool exchange operation is not performed until the [ENTER] key is pressed.
Select this setting when you only want to use tool holder 1.
When DISABLED is selected, a tool exchange operation is performed automatically.
Circle Command Resolution Setting (CIRCLE RESOLUTION) [Default setting: DEFAULT]
When the HP-GL command mode is selected, this function determines whether the resolution is automati-
cally set or fixed at the default value of 5 degrees when a circle command for a pen plotter is output.
Enabling or Disabling the Prevention of Media Lifting (LIFTING PREVENTION)[Default setting:DISABLED]
When the plotter is cutting media such as a rubber mat, the medium may be lifted up together with the blade
when the tool is raised. This function determines whether or not to prevent media lifting.
ENABLED : Media lifting is prevented.
DISABLED : Media lifting is not prevented.
Enabling or Disabling Toggling between the X and Y Cutting Forces (SWITCHING XY FORCE)
[Default setting:DISABLED]
This function determines whether to enable cutting force settings to be made independently for the X and Y
directions when cutting materials such as card or cardboard.
ENABLED: The cutting force is set independently for the X and Y directions.
DISABLED: The same cutting force is set for both the X and Y directions.
This setting is disabled when the tool is a pen.
Setting the VIEW beeper/time until VIEW (BEEPER VIEW/VIEW TIME)
[Default settings: 60 min/30 sec]
BEEPER VIEW: This parameter enables command specification of the length of time that the beeper
sounds while the plotter is in the VIEW status. The selections are OFF, 1, 5, 10, 30, and
60 (min).
VIEW TIME: This parameter sets the length of time between the Ready status and the VIEW status.
The selections are OFF, 10, 20, 30 and 60 (sec).
