Installing the lower triple clamp

Main work

Remove screws
and hang the combination instrument holder to
the side.
–

Remove screw
.

Loosen screw
. Take off the upper triple clamp with the handle-
bar and hang them to the side.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against damage.
Do not kink the cables and lines.

Remove O-ring
. Remove protective ring
–
Take off the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
–
Remove the upper steering head bearing.
Main work
–
Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage, and
grease.
High viscosity grease (
p. 151)
–
Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount upper
steering head bearing.
–
Check whether upper steering head seal
–

Mount protective ring
and O-ring
