AeroNav 900/880 Series Pilot's Guide
Transition Altitude and Level Setting
The transition altitude advisory CAS message is displayed when
the aircraft climbs to within an altitude 250 feet below the
transition altitude. Once issued, the alert will not be eligible to be
issued again unless the aircraft has descended more than 500
feet below the transition altitude.
Likewise, the transition level advisory CAS message is displayed
when the aircraft descends to an altitude 250 feet above the
transition level. Once issued, the alert will not be eligible to be
issued again unless the aircraft has climbed more than 500 feet
above the transition level.
