2.7 Test the Installation

Follow all precautions while testing the Night Scan Lite or Inflexion HD installation.
To test the installation:
1. Review the Pre-Operation Check (Section 3.1).
2. Initiate the System (Section 3.4.2.1).
3. Extend the mast (Section 3.4.2.2).
4. Operate the RCP and Lights (Section 3.4.2.3).
5. Operate any Auxiliary Devices (Section 3.4.2.4).
6. Retract the mast (Section 3.4.2.5).

2.8 Install Payload

The exact installation procedures for the payload will vary based on the customer-specific
payload. For optimal performance, center the payload as best as possible. If the payload will be
offset a significant amount (>300 mm (12 inches)), contact The Will-Burt Company. Contact The
Will-Burt Company with any questions before performing any installation procedures.
Payload Lifting Hazard! Do not exceed specified payload capacity. The mast is intended to lift
a specific payload for lighting, surveillance or communication use only. Any other use without
written consent is prohibited and could cause death or serious injury.
For Inflexion HD models, the payload can be mounted using the mounting hole pattern detailed
in Figure 2-24. The steel mounting plate thickness is 6.4 mm (0.250 inches).
In general, to install the payload:
1. Ensure power is removed from the Mast System while installing the payload to eliminate
the possibility of inadvertent mast extension.
2. Carefully move the payload into position.
