The Base (Figure 1-5):

Has eight mounting holes to section the Mast System to the mounting location

Has a spring in the base pivot join to remove mechanical play in the Base Section and
create a stable platform

Two locations to stabilize the RCP when in the nested position for vehicle dynamic
