2.6.2.6 Wire Power for Lights or Payload to Power Relay Board

The X200 LED lights can use a 20-30 VDC power supply. The customer should supply fused or
breaker-protected power for the lights or alternate payload. Each light bank or payload can have
up to a 20 amp draw per side or 40 amps total. To wire customer power for the lights or
payload:
1. Run a 10 AWG cable (6 mm
to the Control Box Assembly through a cable grip on the side of the control box. Use
10/2 SJOW or equivalent wire. For the four light model, two 10/2 SJOW cables are
required (one for left lights and one for right lights). For the two light model, only one
10/2 cable is required with a jumper added to power the left and right lights. This cable is
typically customer supplied, but available as P/N: 218073 specified by length or P/N:
5594101 for a 15 meter (50 ft.) length cable. Three cables may be needed (one for Mast,
one for left lights/payload on 4 light models, one for right lights/payload on four light
models).
2. Locate terminal block TB3 on the Power Relay Board (P/N: 5553301).
3. Secure the wire to TB3 as shown in Figure 2-19.
4. Tighten the cable grip ensuring proper slack inside the control box.
Note if installing an Inflexion HD the customer specific payload replaces the lights and is subject
to the same power limitations. Alternatively, the AUX1 and AUX2 inputs can be used instead of
the light circuit for payloads requiring 10 amps or less.
For Inflexion HD with alternative payloads, the power and data cables need to be installed from
the control box to the payload. These cables are supplied by the installer. Route the wire
through the center of the upper tube, through the knuckle joint, and inside the channel of the
lower element frame member. It is recommended to use protective conduit in the knuckle joint
(P/N: 5547201 order by required length for 10mm diameter or less). A length of conduit is
shipped with each Inflexion HD system. Ensure the cable will not be pinched during mast
operation. Power and controls can completely bypass the mast control system and be managed
independently from the Mast System controls. If using the Mast System to control the payload,
connect power and data following the light circuit (terminal block 4 on the power relay board) or
AUX circuit (terminal block 6 on the power relay board) nomenclature. Data lines to connect to
the selected buttons on the hand held remote control are connected on the main control board
terminal block 4.
