Description
For contours (e.g. slots) on a cylinder, lengths in the circumferential
direction of the cylinder peripheral surface (e.g. Y axis) are often
specified as angles.
Several options are available under the "Mill contour" function in free
contour programming for this purpose.
Depending on the selected axis (selection is made via a display
machine data), you can enter the length as an angle.
In the screen form for selecting the starting point, you can also
activate or deactivate the cylinder surface transformation function via
the "Alternat." softkey. When the function is active, you are offered the
diameter ∅ of the cylinder.
Depending on the axis and the relevant element, angle parameters α,
Iα or Yα, Jα are added to the "Horizontal/vertical/diagonal line" and
"Arc" when the cylinder surface transformation function is active.
Notes
The dimensions of the developed surface are specified in mm in the
graphics!
