150 Calibrating Measured Values
Preset values can be optimized
Approximate default values have already been determined for the various sensor
types, and these are stored when the item is delivered. However, these values
can be optimized

For calibrating the offset value (for TCs), a value can be set on the calibrator at
which no voltage occurs at the clamping point. That is typically the cold junction
temperature. However, a value at which the sensor itself does not yet provide
any appreciable voltage (e.g., 600 °C for B types) can be used.
In the event that WAGO-I/O-CHECK cannot be used, the following must be
observed:
CODESYS library
The WAGO "ModuleAccess_01.lib" library allows you both to configure I/O
modules and to access their process data within a CODESYS project without the
use of WAGO-I/O-CHECK.
A function block can be used to perform user calibration. You can download the
library from the WAGO website.
