Commissioning

• Read out module information
• Enable/disable input channels separately
• Configure input channels
• Calibrate input channels (see also Section "Calibrating Measured Values"
and Section "Service" > "Recalibration")
For recalibration, the selected sensor type must correspond to the
connected sensor type
If a new sensor type is selected for a channel in the configuration, this sensor
type must actually be connected to the corresponding inputs of the I/O module.
This ensures recalibration to the new sensor. Otherwise, precise measured
values are not displayed. This applies to resistance-based sensors in particular.
• Scale input channels (see also Section "Scaling Measured Values")
• Read out diagnostic information
• Output process data
• Perform firmware update (see also Section "Service" > "Firmware
Update/Downgrade")
• Perform firmware downgrade (see also Section "Service" > "Firmware
Update/Downgrade")
