Calibration

The I/O module can be recalibrated to correct the effects of long-term drift or to
optimize accuracy in a thermally stable state. Calibration is dependent on the
signal type previously set for the respective channel (see Section "Channel
Setting").
Before calibration, please note the following information:
Use a low-noise, high-precision calibrator for the calibration.
The accuracy of the calibrator must be higher than that of the device to be
calibrated by a factor of ten.
Disconnect all cables (if there are any) from the I/O module to the system.
Use a separate 24 V power supply to supply the node.
Use short shielded cables to connect to the calibrator.
Calibrate each channel separately.
Requirement for "SG - U
To calibrate the "SG - U
(Channel 1) or −E3 and −I3 (Channel 3) connections must be connected!
