Markers Field

Markers Field
The Markers field may appear in different locations depending on the menu
you are in. Regardless of its location, the Markers field is always used to
access a marker selection menu.

Off/Sample Sample appears only in the Chart menu. Off appears in the
Listing and Waveform menus. Off and Sample both turn off the X and O
markers. Even with Markers turned off, if a Stop measurement has been
previously specified, and the Stop measurement criteria are met, the
measurement will stop. Be sure to turn off the Stop Measurement to
prevent this from happening.
See Also
"Sample Markers" subsection in the Chart menu chapter for more information
about sample markers.
Pattern Pattern markers are available in the Listing, Waveform, and
Chart menus. Set Markers to Pattern to place the marker on a specific
bit pattern in the data.
Time Time markers are available in the Listing, Waveform, and Chart
menus. Set Markers to Time to place the marker at a specific time in the
acquisition.
Statistics Statistics markers are available in the Listing, Waveform, and
Chart menus. To use statistics markers, you must first specify a pattern
for the X and the O marker. Statistics then keeps track of the minimum,
maximum, and average time between the markers for subsequent runs.
