Error Messages
ASCII entry not available. The ASCII base is not available. You must
use another base selection.
Failure to Read Skew Values from Flash ROM. The logic analysis
system could not load skew values from ROM and is using default skew
values instead. This message occurs the first time the 16517A/18A
module is powered up, or if there are no skew values in the Agilent
Technologies 16500 logic analysis system. See the Skew Adjust chapter
for how to set skew values.
Insufficient memory to load IAL - load aborted. There is not a
large enough block of free memory to load the inverse assembler.
Inverse assembler not loaded - bad object code. Corrupt inverse
assembler file. Try getting another copy of the inverse assembler file and
loading that.
Maximum of 32 channels per label. This message appears when you
try to assign more than 32 channels to a single label. The logic analyzer
will only allow 32 channels to be assigned to any single label.
Measurement Did Not Complete The user was adjusting skew or
running a PV test that did not complete as it should have. The logic
analysis system attempted to measure skew values but could not
complete the measurement. Default skew values are used instead.
Memory system failed -- replace card(s) A fault was detected in the
module's memory. Send the specified card(s) in for repair. See
"Installation and Service" chapter for more information.
Must have at least 1 edge specified. You must assign at least one
clock edge to one of the available clocks in the Master clocking
arrangement. In addition, if the Slave clock is being used, it must have at
least one clock edge assigned. The analyzer will not let you close the
clock assignment pop-up menu until an edge is specified.
NO DISK. There are no disks in the disk drives. You must place a disk
into the disk drive before configurations can be loaded or stored.
Problems reading file. The user is trying to translate a configuration
file that cannot be opened a second time.
