Setting Pattern Durations (Timing only)
When a bit pattern is found during a timing sequence evaluation, you can
influence when the term actually becomes "true" by assigning a time
duration. This works very similar to how the occurrence counter influences
terms. The Set Pattern Duration field appears in all levels. The duration
assignment menu is accessed by selecting the Set Pattern Duration field.
Set Pattern Duration field
Set Pattern Duration Field at bottom of Sequence Level Menu
Pattern duration is assigned by sequence level and only to the resource terms
being used in that level. This means that you could set different durations to
the same term name in a different sequence level. However, each time you
use that same term with different duration values, and in different sequence
levels, you use up another resource. In other words, there is no difference
between using one resource term four times with different pattern durations,
and using four different resource terms once each.
