Spring attachment
1. Attach spring to the spring holes on the base plate 1 and the FPM

Vertical feed bush attachment
1. Attach the vertical feed bush 1 to the base plate with the 2 screws 1.
*Key point
• Face the cut face of the vertical feed bush inside.

Vertical rod attachment
1. Apply 1 or 2 drops of sewing lubricant to the shaft of the vertical rod 1.
2. Insert the vertical rod 1 into the vertical feed bush 2.
3. Apply a bead of MOLYKOTE EM-30L to the top face of the vertical rod
1.
Apply sewing lubricant to the shaft of the vertical rod.
Apply MOLYKOTE EM-30L to the top face of the
vertical rod.
