12. Remove mounting bolt (24) and connector
(25).
13. Disconnect heater hoses (22) and (23) and air
conditioner hose (26).
a Put tags to the disconnected hoses and
tubes to prevent a mistake in re-connect-
ing them.
14. Remove the 7 mounting bolts and air condi-
tioner unit assembly (27).

Installation

Carry out installation in the reverse order to

a When installing the air conditioner circuit
hoses, take care that dirt, water, etc. will
not enter them.
a When connecting each air conditioner
hose, check that the O-ring is fitted to the
joint.
a Check that each O-ring is free from flaw
and deterioration.
a Coat the O-ring with compressor oil for
R134a (DENSO: ND-OIL 8, ZEXEL: ZXL
100 PG (PAG 46 or equivalent)) and
tighten the nuts with 2 spanners.

Filling air conditioner circuit with refriger-

Fill the air conditioner circuit with refrigerant
(R134a).
a Quantity of refrigerant: 1,330 ± 50 g
Refilling with coolant

Add coolant through the coolant filler to the
specified level. Run the engine to circulate the
coolant through the system. Then, check the
coolant level again.
