7.2.4 Reference Junction Compensation
The following describes how to set the method for compensating an electromotive force generated
between a thermocouple wire or compensation lead wire and a terminal. There are the following
three compensating methods:
A method to compensate through the built-in temperature sensing element
(INT: Internal compensation)
A method to compensate by keeping an external compensator's temperature constant
(EXT: External compensation)
A method to compensate by one input for the recorder temperature which gets external
junction box. (CH: Channel input compensation)
Internal compensation (INT) has been initially set.
