In the Communications menu, select the Configure Driver.
From the Available Driver Type list select the DF1 Driver, then click
Configure.

Specify a name for the driver and click OK.
Configuring the Communication Driver
Use RSLinx software to configure the serial communication driver. Select
the "DF1" driver.

Specify the appropriate communication settings.
