In the Controller Organizer, select the I/O Configuration folder. Right-click the selected folder and select New Module.

Select the 1788-DNBO DeviceNet
Scanner from the list of possible
communication devices.
Click OK.

Enter a Name for the port and make sure it is assigned to
slot 4.
Click Finish.
