Layout

The positioner CMSX has a sturdy plastic housing. It includes all necessary components for regulation
of double- and single-acting pneumatic semi-rotary drives and double-acting pneumatic linear drives.
These include:
– Two valves (CMSX-S-...-S-..., single-acting) or four valves (CMSX-...-D-..., double-acting) with con­
nection block and pneumatic ports (è Fig. 1, aA and Fig. 2, 9 ) as a positioning system for the
pneumatic drive
– A shaft towards the outside (è Fig. 1, 7 ) with potentiometer as feedback system
– Equipment electronics with microprocessor and electronics for signal processing and control
– Terminals and cable entry with cable connector (è Fig. 1, 5 and Fig. 2, 4 and 5 ) for the electrical
connection
– Two-line LCD display (è Fig. 1, 2 and Fig. 2, 2 )
– 3 keys on the circuit board (è Fig. 1, 4, 5 and 6 ) under the housing cover (è Fig. 1, 1 ).
Besides the cable entry with cable connector, the housing is equipped with a blanking plug
(è Fig. 1, 4) – for mounting of an additional cable entry with cable connector (optional). Located on
