Menu parameter (3)

The commands in the parameters menu offer access to controller parameters as well as parameters for
scaling the analogue setpoint value specification and the valve operating area.

Description
MENU 3 PARA
Establishes the dead zone of the positioner (è Fig. 28).
DEADBAND
0.5 ... 10%
Establishes the P-part (proportional part) of the PID controller
PID--P
1 ... 20
Establishes the D-part (differential part) of the PID controller
PID--D
1 ... 20
Establishes the lower limit of the valve operating area (è Fig. 29)
MIN
0 ... MAX -1%
Establishes the upper limit of the valve operating area (è Fig. 29)
MAX
MIN+1% ... 100%
Establishes the minimum setpoint signal (presetting = 0 %).
SPMIN
0 ... SPMAX-20%
Establishes the maximum setpoint signal (presetting = 100 %).
SPMAX
SPMIN+20% ... 100% Largest setpoint value in % of the complete work range
This limits the work range of the setpoint signal (è Fig. 30)

The parameters can also be selected and set with the Add and Sub key (è Fig. 24, 2 ). Pressing the
Set key confirms the current selection or setting and returns to the menu.
Note
If the controller is in operation (operating status Running), the new setting becomes
effective immediately after the Set key is pressed.
